.@AndroidPolice: [Huh?] YouTube Is Getting In-App Messaging For Some Reason https://t.co/8sr1maLaOc
Ridiculous. That's so Google to make a new messenger yet again. Like clockwork.
|OT| Pixel Phone, Please?
I'm currently playing with my Nexus 6P and Huawei smart watch. So much fun!
Not quite messaging and not quite a social network, Spaces is a "destination for when you want to share, and talk about what you're sharing," the app's Product Director Luke Wroblewski, told Mashable.
Users create "spaces," chat room-like message threads, and invite others to join with a link that can be opened in the app or on the web. Conversations within Spaces are centered around chunks of content like web links, YouTube videos and photos.
Finally, somebody remakes Glassboard.Spaces!

Did they announce anything in Android Auto?
I can't understand why can't they put Auto mode next to airplane mode, let it run once it detects the car's bluetooth (and add an option, if connected, or something), and just add a new toolbar at the top and the Android Auto bar at the bottom, let you choose your music and map programs and call it a day.
Also, let it act like Google Fit, and let the car manufacturers share the data they want with it, track fuel consumption and stuff like that.
There are apps that do this (AutoMate is the best), but it would be cleaner if it was just an option, and would work much better. You can still have your expensive screen on your new car.
If you don't have an Android Auto-compatible head unit in your car, you'll be able to get a similar experience on your phone. It'll have the same features as Android Auto in the car, Google says, including voice-enabled calling, media playback, messaging and navigation. (Those are, of course, all things you can do on a phone currently. But now they'll have an Android Auto-friendly user interface.)

I believe they announce Android Auto will be available as an app for those people that obviously not upgrading their cars any time soon.
