Boruto 17
I kind of like the writing in this series? The conversations within the main crew are good, like Boruto and Mitsuki here. And I like how after Bortuo was scolded for using ninja tools he has kind of overadjusted his views on them. But then the series gives me stuff like the next villain group wearing hoods and robes and being called the Ohtsusuki which is meh.

Had a panel to display that rock solid anime to manga continuity though.

Black Clover 129
The classic Black Clover nobles are dicks to peasants plot note shows up again, just one match removed from the Kirsch showdown. Even then, killing your comrade from behind is pretty low. Fake Xerx (or I guess Zora) has been pretty enjoyable this arc and overall I liked his backstory well enough even if this the noble/peasant conflict is getting a bit tired.

A mention of the Asta/Yuno showdown. Guess it's happening. Will they really have Yuno show up a captain or will there be some shenanigans afoot.

My Hero Academia 156
I'm pretty disappointed that they had Eri ditch Mirio and return to Chisaki, only to immediately decide to fight due to seeing his cape. The person should matter not the costume. Hope her powers get more defined soon. League of villains are at least being fun.

Ready to move on from this arc.

Food Wars 235
Takumi about to do it.

Dr. Stone 31
Nice conversation! Cool gas mask!

Robot x Laserbeam 29
I hope we don't get Yozan saying that he will wait in high school until Robo faces him. Yozan being nice to the kid was great.

We Never Learn 35
Best chapter in the series? Actually acknowledged past events (even if it is five chapters late) and the fallout from them, had some character growth, and was funny.

The Promised Neverland 59
lol at Emma with a bozooka.
lol at nameless guy trying to book it out of there so he doesn't see the family farewell.

Gilda with a nice moment too. Wonder if they are putting this emphasis on only one person coming back since someone is going to be splitting off from the group.

Lycopene 02
Now we are referencing Japanese youtubers of all things.

I'm thinking Erina vs Azami. Azami knows he'll hold that L against Jouichiro.

Though based on the flashback I suppose the Azami/Jouichiro match up might be more likely.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"

Unless the series is ending I don't know why they'd conclusively job out the Elite 10 and at this point it would be very weird to end the series with a ton of open plot lines like Soma's mother, Soma vs. Erina, etc. I mean, not to mention it's a Top 10 selling series that Jump probably has no inclination to cancel or end.

Maken-ki volume 18

Series reached the highest, lewdest point with this volume imo thanks to the closing scene. I mean, some magical sword being created by tentacles raping the kidnapped and brainwashed big boobs teacher and the sword is being extracted from her vagina.

I like Hiromitsu's art but the man really isn't good at stories.
I guess once this series ends he'll finally be able to put out the doujinshi he HAS to have made all throughout this series' run. I mean, the extras with the dirty dreams all point to wanting to show so much more while being forced to restraint.

Well, thats what happen when u read mango made by hentai artist lol.

I would love more collab like Shokugeki where the story writer is one and then the H artist is only drawing the art lol.

There is sooooo many NTR artist which should go and draw mango.(Any U.R.C fan guysss?)

I don't remember if I already wrote some comments about the first volume in the past.
This manga is really good. Really, really good. It's also pretty draining to read. There are a lot of emotions, situations, feelings and a rich cast of characters which feel really... human and relatable.
The 4 sisters are awesome. Each one is different character wise but the close-knit relationship is great to see, complete with fights between them.
The best part though is how every character has its own little space and time to shine. I think it's quite the ability to be able to make so many different characters not feel just like background props and instead feel like they are part of this living and breathing community.

It has a simple art style which switches between serious faces and way lesser serious ones and it all works. It never feels out of character, personality wise.
I also happen to like the art a lot and I think the less serious depictions only work because there is a certain level of cohesion and skill at play, but it's just my subjective opinion.

So, yeah, I'm in love with this one and it's something that I think would fit the likes of Vertical to publish

This was on my radar too, someone with the avatar of a TV head mentioned it before.

That guy also have good taste.

That sounds absurd.
English release from Seven Seas Ghost Ship when?

Boruto 17;

Some shady organisation lurking in the shadows with most likely at hokage level if not greater power looking for a vessel to rule the world...Like did they not read their own manga!?!?! It's like Bleach's arrancar arc...Just waiting for Boruto to get his hax power up.

Is there a rule that states every shonen manga needs to have at least one overlong extended flashback sequence spanning several chapters? Or, in some cases, far more than several...

Prison School ch267

Kiyoshi finally taking a break, albeit one a bit too long. Wonder what's going on in Hana's mind right now.

Seifuku no Vampiress Lord ch9

RIP Rin. Nana is pretty forgiving and open-minded, all things considered. Still, it's not nice to hide such things from your girlfriend.

Hoshino, Me o Tsubutte. ch36-38

You know, I'm kinda disappointed that Nishimura wasn't the culprit. Most series seem to pull "the obsessed otaku friend is actually a good misunderstood guy" card all the time.

Miss Sunflower ch36

Things have really changed thanks to her hard work.

Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko! ch670

And thus was a very sexually confused bully born.

Hoozuki-san Chi no Aneki + Imouto ch23-32

Eh, nothing happened.

Chapter 20, and the author stop giving a fuck about the art. Its like she no longer care about her work and just keep on making it without any care for quality. Never before a sequel hurt me so much...(well, maybe eureka seven Ao)

I started to read Oofuri manga, this reminded me it's the only sport series I've seen in which the parents actually go to see their kids game lol.
..... ...yeah.

Dude I can't think of any. At least not more than a couple token appearances like Baby Steps. I didn't even notice this is a trope.

Major??

Thats like the highest I've ever seen We Never Learn. Isn't it usually in the bottom half?

Is there any word on when Gintama is actually ending?

I didn't read most of those actually but from what I did they usually come like a handful of times, not regularly (except for Major I think but I don't remember much from it)

Regulary probably not i guess? But Giant Killing had one of their team best player always supporting him behind the TV and show up in the field to support him during National team Home game.

Aoizaka parents show up every match i think.^_^

BLack Clover ftw.

HeroAca out of the top 5, giving Mirio back his quirk is the only way to save the manga.

It's usually one parent (Often the mum) and for the protagonist, but unless it's plot relevant (Chris' dad in Ace of Diamond, Tsukki's brother in HQ) the parents seem totally disinterested in their kids' lives, not even when they reach important milestones.

Adachi mitsuru usually show main character parent as spectator. At least that's what i remembered from Mix, H2, and Touch

If MHA doesn't rank first or second next week, then japan has the worst taste. The Lemillion chapter was probably one of my fav chapters of any series I've read in a long time.

How could you forget the parents of Johzenji (HQ) they even show up to cheer.

Those are my exact thoughts for Kentaro Yabuki, artist for To-LOVE-Ru Darkness.

If not mistaken he is just the illustrator. He didn't write the story, it will be hard to compare.

There's being told to illustrate an ecchi scene, and then there's turning the entire series into soft-core p orn to a MUCH further degree than was in the original story. Also, the original writer for To-LOVE-Ru did not continue on to Darkness, so I'm targeting the one constant who clearly KNEW that his style changed drastically

Are you speaking about the latest chapter?

I'm going to be hype if Lemillion could exceed what he did before.
