So no one else notice that Wallie's hair changed several times during the show? It not just that he as a new style. It alternated between the new do and the old do.

I assume there was some filming issue?

Didn't notice it. Only difference I thought I noticed was when he was in the Kid Flash costume, but I thought it would make sense for him to change his hair while in costume.

We thought that too, but it wasn't consistent- there were some scene not in costume he had the old hairdo.

Just wondering if there was some behind the scene filming explanation, cause there was no story reason.

Maybe they didn't want to say anything because it looked terrible and Wally kept changing it because he thought they didn't notice.

Let's not forget Tina McGee's husband Speed Demon.

Really the show just needs the Zen Master and Jay around.

I feel like if they do Bart/XS it won't be 31st Century. They moved Eobard's history to a couple hundred years earlier and Flash has only played within time travel of a decade or two either way. Legends deals more with big leaps in time travel and Supergirl has the Legion. Probably be more like Young Justice, which was also a pretty great take on Bart.

I'm sorry but you seem to be forgetting the only Speedster that truly matters.

Would help if the Speedsters have some sort of unique skill or specialty other than run fast

When is the last time someone used the lightning thing

So I'm 4-5 minutes into the second episode and I'm liking this.

Neckbeard meta villain, Barry's speedster shenanigans, GoT reference and the crime scene now.

Good stuff so far.

"YOU LEFT ME!!"

"You're not The Flash, /we/ are"

For fuck's sake, Iris.

Also this neckbeard looks and sounds so much like a normal sized Patton Oswalt it's distracting.

Just saw the ep. Wally went full Yamcha again :(

Iris was still annoying. Can't believe the shrink didn't bring up the whole incest thing.

It wouldn't be as visible is they made the suit itself look bulkier, the way they do for Reverse Flash.

And honestly the only huge difference is the shoulder pads on the Reverse Flash suit.
It really fills the proportions out.
The amount of cloth on the original suit also really threw it off.

The cycle of will-they-will-they-not I bet Iris and Barry are about to break up
I wished it would have been a Wally show for the first half the season and build it up for Barry’s return. Oh well.

Damn Caitlin looks fine this season

The actor who plays Wally also has a music career that is starting to blow up. His new hairstyle is attributed to that. I feel like the writers of the show had more intent on Wally originally having more spotlight this season, but since the actor is focusing more and more on his music career, they've had to down play his role all the way to the point where it seems like they are slowly writing him off of the show.

Considering how much emphasis was put on him for 2/3 of last season, now he is reduced to 'guy who shows up to make the bad guy look strong and have 5 lines of background character dialogue per episode.' In another show that would be a clear sign to kill him off, like Hawkman in legends. We will see how things turn out this season. If anything, I'd rather they just replace the actor next season to someone who could commit more time to the role. Do whatever time hijinks you have to, to explain why he looks different.

"Blowing up" is a big stretch lol. He does most of his recording and filming outside of the show's production months anyway. Unless he reduces his episode count or leaves the show, it still takes priority over the music stuff anyway. I don't think that's the reason.

lol I actually liked this episode a lot. Iris was kinda on that BS, but nowhere near as bad as Felicity.

Also: I saw a lot of people bigging up Legends. Did Legends suddenly not become shit? Every time I check in I just wind up getting angry, so I skip most of the time. Last thing I saw was when they visited the Arthurian era. Mistake? Should I try it this season?

Season 2 and onwards they lean fully into the Legends being a bunch of lovable idiots, and it just works tremendously. They know that their show isn't some super serious affair, so as a result, it's a lot more entertaining than the other shows most of the time if I'm being honest. It's not some masterpiece all of a sudden of course, but when compared to Flash, it looks better.

Also they had one of the best villain groups ever for Season 2, the Legion of Doom was priceless.

So in other words Wally is vegeta

Except if you read the second half of that sentence it doesn't apply to Vegeta. Vegeta gets the spotlight almost as much as Goku. Compare that to Wally lately. He's been Tien'd. Or Piccolo'd.

I don't know. Something about this season so far just seems like the writers didn't trust Wally's actor to captain the ship. To me, that's because either they think he isn't a good enough actor or they think his work priorities are elsewhere. Could be both.

hahaha yes

FTFY. Iris like Felicity was a good character when they were in supporting roles. Now that they are full on love interest and part of the "team" the dynamic shifts. So you have Iris over ruling two scientists cause fiance.

Bad writing in my opinion.

Nah it's still hot garbage. Last season was good because RF was in it. Now, I don't know about it. Way too campy.

Did they give Jessie the ability to fly? Her and her dad were unique among speedsters for that
They have not as of now, I always wanted them to make Harry 'Johnny Quick' speaking of him. Mostly because I want people running around shouting the speed formula.

I dont know if this was posted yet, but they had some more spoilers for the crossover, well photos on set. They showed who was in the Nazi Reverse Flash Suit.
Tom was in it.
who knows whats up with that though.
