Holidays are around the corner. It makes sense to drop all these games now. It gives people more reasons to stay with Xbox; or to jump in for new adopters.

As a guy that has little interest in the Crysis trilogy and the Orange Box I can say that this has been a fantastic week of BC. I am very happy to see the posters here get their most requested games.

More X enhancements, nice.

However, WHERE ARE THE OG XBOX GAMES, MICROSOFT? Still waiting for that Burnout 3, GTA 3, GTA vice city, and jet set radio future. Hopefully we'll get a huge drop at X018.

Seems to be a small trend of releasing a game series for BC all at once.

Risen 1-3 seems like a good bet.

What other series are left do you think could have potential to come soon?

Megatons.

You know what, new games suck. Keep doing this and honestly, I'm for it. Xbox One is turning into the best "retro" console at lightening speed.

So true. I think I have spent more time playing 360 games or remasters in the last year than actual new games. New games are full of grind, microtransactions and other nonsense. Older games are more fun to play.

Word. One thing though...ugh, they could easily do an "S" enhanced with a bump in framerate or slight bump in resolution. Portal 2 co-op is a slideshow otherwise.

Hopefully Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy

I really hope for FFXIII Trilogy, also Amalur, The Last Remnant and PoP Forgotten Sands. They are the last games in my 360 collection not being BC. I'm pretty sure Forgotten Sands will eventually pop but I'm not so sure for FFXIII Trilogy, Last Remnant and Amalur.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

The Last Remnant seems unlikely now, considering it was pulled from digital storefronts entirely in anticipation of it's remaster.

BC wishlist: (360) Akai Katana, Dodonpachi Saidaioujou , dodonpachi ressurection, Espgaluda 2, Mushihimesama Futari (basically half my japanese 360 imports)
OG xbox: rallisport challenge 2, outrun 2

changes of getting those: 0.01% ;/

glad i never sell my old consoles, and playing panzer dragoon orta on an xboxone is pure heaven. but damn its kinda depressing for a niche gamer ;)

So....

They ported the Source engine from x86 over to Power-PC for the Xbox 360...then released it as backwards compatible with the Xbox One, which required an additional download (even before the 4k update).

You think there is a layer of emulation or dynamic recompilation when running the Orange Box on the Xbox One (X)? That'd be ironic.

Castlevania has been on my BC wishlist for a while. Time to replay Lords of Shadow!

Are any of these Castlevania games any good? I've only ever played the 2D ones, from the NES to the DS games.

I think people are divided on them. Personally, I liked Lords of Shadow 1. Lords of Shadow 2 was okay. I haven't played Mirror of Fate, though.
But then again, I am one of the people who doesn't like the new God of War (I liked GoW3, though!), so apparently I know nothing about action games, haha.

I absolutely loved Lords of Shadow 1, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want Harmony of Despair to be BC first.

Guess I'll finally play through LoS2 though.

LoS1 seems to run so much smoother, at least during the first level. I remember having a bunch of framerate issues on the 360.

Edit: load times seem significantly improved as well.
