Starfield releases September 6, 2023

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
All that offscreen shit looks really neat. Can't wait, my hopes being:
  • Improved gameplay and combat compared to the first showing.
  • Actual role-playing mechanics and depth instead of whatever Skyrim and Fallout 4 were.
And that's it. I trust in Todd's plan, the game could come out in 2024 and I couldn't care less as long as they deliver.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Please be good (and 60FPS)

It will be, that's the Todd Howard guarantee.

Well, at least we finally got a release date. I’m personally getting a bit excited for Starfield despite barely paying any attention to all hype surrounding it, mostly because I tend to go back and forth between being into hard sci-fi concepts, getting tired of it and get more into dark fantasy for a while, getting tired of it only to go back to sci fi, rinse and repeat. Right now I’m in the sci-fi phase again so Starfield sounds appealing, lets hope it sticks the landing date. Might even have to pick up a Series X if Starfield really is all that has been promised.

I made one simple point and even stated I’ll be playing the game. Then I had around 4 people jump down my throat.
And now he's playing victim. Quit lying. You acted like a concern troll at first. Then took it a step further by implying they didn't progress in a year (when they have a release date) and bitched about no gameplay footage when there is, on top of a showcase in June. Then you exposed yourself by going full warrior and stating "hur hur, when you're starved for this long"

You're transparent and not fooling anyone.

Yeah, I'm eager for details on the various gameplay systems. Todd always puts together a good presentation that paints a clear picture on the stuff you can do in the game. Adding more engaging RPG systems seems like a key focus in this game going by what Todd has said in interviews.

I bought a samsung qn95a last year, was trying to igure out what streaming stick to buy so I could give this a shot without having to buy an xbox and ended up reading that they natively support xbox game pass, and dualsense controllers. i've already got everything I need to try it, fuck yeah.

I’m never out of my sci-fi phase! Best genre there is! 👾

Psst go for the PC version instead if you can, that’s where all the cool mods will be.

Why are people saying it showed no gameplay? There were several snippets and it looked GOOD imo... the graphics and creature and planet design all looked great! I am more hyped for this than i was after last sneak peek we got... can't wait!

Damn Toddy looks fucking old :messenger_grinning_sweat:
He looks like shit. Ive seen this at work. It's because of stress and long days.

I sense a hint of frustration in his voice when he said trust us, we want to have people play our game too. I just realized that this is the first game hes shipped since Fallout 4 which was 8 years ago. Dont think he was too involved with Fallout 76.

Games are just getting too big. Bethesda games are already huge. I wouldnt be surprised if there is 200-300 hours of content here.

Devs have to start limiting their ambitions for their games for their own sanity or they will look like aged Presidents.

We are 6 months away from release. They couldn’t whip up a 2 minute gameplay segment?
Mm I dunno about this logic - you can clearly see the gameplay off screen in multiple areas of the game — seemed pretty obvious they could do a 2 minute gameplay segment if they wanted and chose not to

EDIT: on a side note the third person gameplay actually looks way better than I expected - and gameplay in general looks smoother than the reveal
