Now the interesting question will be how much of the unit gap (in US/UK territory) can Xbox One close in November/December. Really fascinated to know the type of gap the systems had

I think if they were over a million, MS would say so. That's an impressive, headline generating number. But maybe they didn't want to get too granular.

The "best month ever" bit could be worldwide too. Or comboing UK.

So they may be mixing their datapoints somewhat to get there.

Hmm, yeah, rereading the PR, they are non-specific with that line.

I keep forgetting how much obfuscation MS manages to pack into their press releases and took it at face value. :\

Congrats to MS, It only took 2 price drops, free games and Black Friday deals to beat Sony, job well done I guess...

*One price drop.

The Kinect SKU was $450 instead of the $500 at launch. Kinectless was $350 ($50 drop). Also, didn't Sony have free game bundles/Black Friday deals too?
