New Dragon Quest Heroes trailer (with SHOCKING NEWS about free DLC)

not sure about that.. you could offer that kind of replay value with unlockables as well. Maybe it wasn't free DLC in the first place, but SE heard about that ToZ shitstorm and decided otherwiese :D
That really moseso about complaining about how a character was treated in a story though and someone they thought they could use a lot of as part of the game.

I hope this is the first Musou game I actually enjoy.

Well since this isn't really a musou game that wouldn't be too surprising.

Trying to fight the urge to import this, but I'm soooo close...
Really need to hear anything at all from Koei/Tecmo Europe on a possible EU release.

I really hope it will come westside.
So, bosses are there: what about the Lock-on function of Hyrule warriors?

Yeah, this seems like it'd be relatively import-friendly, and I kinda want to play this right fucking now.

Looks wonderful, but wheres the Ps3 version?, any footage yet? :(
No footage or screenshots has been shown yet but we do know some details about it.

- Graphics, shadows and effects are worse
- 30fps instead of 60fps
- PS3 cannot handle the large groups of monsters so some of the monsters will turn invisible until you defeat some of the other present monsters

It'll be interesting to see which version will sell the most and whether the DQ brand will be enough to shift some Ps4's.

These are the type over games that'll tip me over the point where I have to get a Ps4, so I hope it'll come out West.

There is good chance of English localization I think. They announced Chinese version at TpGS last month, and today they announced Korean localization as well. This is the first DQ game to ever get localized in Korea.

This is getting ridiculous.

The art style reminds me of Blue Dragon's (for obvious reasons), which I still think is an awesome looking game.

What I got out of the trailer.

"Dragon, action button, monster coin, dragon quest 3, costume" So yeah I'm on board.

Wow I never realized how nostalgic that music is!

I always thought Dragon Quest/Warrior games were the best RPG's on the NES. I think they did better than FF. Unfortunately for me I moved away from Nintendo products post SNES so I've never owned a Nintendo portable (I had an original Game Boy but thats it). I missed out on a LOT of DQ.. Maybe I SHOULD pick up one of those N3DS.. hmmmm

No sign of the superior DQ5 wife. Will preorder just so I can cancel said preorder.

But seriously this looks cool. PS4, right? But no word of a western release. So I got some time to get one.

do you know if, apart from the bosses, they mutuated the lock-on too from Hyrule warriors? it was a game changer for me.

In wanting to stay in Toriyama's style, the characters look a bit goofy, but that actually gives it it's own distinctive flavor. I like it.

Oh, I forgot it was a musou...

I wonder, can I download this from the japanese store and then use my EU account to play the game with the dlc? Or if I download it with the japanese account I can only play it with that one.

looks very good but seriously.. when its free why making it as DLC in the first place?..
because it will probably be free for a limited time.

as long as your console is the primary console the account is on, the dlc should always work regardless of account(if the game is the same region as the dlc) WITH the exception that they make dlc a program like thing for your account, IE Gundam breaker had an insert code dlc thing which would be tied to the account and didnt work like normal dlc, this is rarer and not as likely but i thought i'd put it up just in the low low off chance it happens. So all in all, you should be fine with your EU account.
