Oh for crying out loud, I've had him pre ordered since the 10th of December.

Practically every Amiibo is available for in-store pickup. Unfortunately all that means is that maybe one store has them available throughout the entire country. Have been checking various postcodes and can't find any at all. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't think this means much :(

The two amiibo I keep seeing getting canned in the UK are Meta Knight and Shulk, the two of this wave with store exclusivity in the US. I don't believe in coincidence.

Just came back from Media Markt in Berlin. I was only missing Shulk and got it from a game of stone, paper, scissors, no kidding. The clerk opened their shipping box in front of us and they had one (!) Meta, DDD and Shulk each. Tons of Mega Man and Sonic though. The other guy also wanted Shulk, so we battled it out and I got lucky. Of course I left him DDD and Meta because I already got them on Wednesday from Gamestop, so he was not too sad.

In the end I just saw my Saturn pre-order for Shulk is working out, so I have a second one now. Oh well, fun morning anyway.

Running out of space now, I think I will add Pit + (maybe) Ness and call it a day. Fortunately I don't care about Pokemon, FE and the generic Nintendo characters.

I am so sad because other people discovered the amiibo goldmine store in this town and when I went there yesterday I was shocked to find out their Shulk/DDD/Meta Knight stock was already sold out :(. But I thought, "I pre-ordered as fast as I could at Game Mania, surely they'll be available for pick up in store tomorrow!" but alas, even they didn't get enough stock to fulfill their pre-orders.

I checked every other store and none of them has them. All sites are sold out. I have no way of getting these three amiibo now unless Nintendo issues a reprint or ships more to stores. I'm not buying from scalpers, no way.

I feel defeated. Crushed. I thought I was prepared, but I completely underestimated amiibogeddon.

:( I just want a Shulk...

I don't think people would be insane enough to go to Best Buy right now at 6AM EST. it's like 4 hours before opening hours. (Also Eastern United States really got hit by chill weather lately so I dunno if people are that willing to stay outside that long.)

They've already updated the Amiibo page, with Sonic and Megaman now in stock, but all the rest remain out of stock.

So far, I've been able to get every one I REALLY want, apart from Pit ( :( ) without much trouble, so I'm generally fine with it as it is. Can see it being a nightmare for people wanting everyone though. I'll only really burn out if wave 4 leaves me boned. I NEED that Ness. Got pre-orders in for Lucina, Pac, Charizard and Ness on GAME, and another Ness on Nintendo UK to be safe. If I get screwed on that, I'll be mad.

If pre-ordering a product 2 months before the release date and searching stores one day before the street date and on the release date isn't enough to get these figurines, then I don't want to be part of it anymore.

Nintendo really needs to fix this because this is not good. I really want to get a full set but if this is how it goes, then fuck that shit.

It really stings tho, Shulk went out of stock while paying so I've paid €56 for TWO AMIBOOS (€28 shipping, fuckin' crazy).

Now I'm Shulk-less and I paid a crazy amount... I'm out after Ness

I'm in Northern Ohio and it's -9 with a windchill of -30 at 7 AM. I can't imagine there's anyone outside of Best Buy right now, but hell, you never know.

Absolutely no luck getting a Shulk here in Denmark. Hit up three really big electrics stores and none of them had gotten wave 3B yet - apparently they don't get them until March??

At one ToysRUs the guy kept bringing out Marths which was hilarious. They had like 10 om their display already and so many in the back there were room for. I've also seenultiple Villager, Pit, Captain Falcon, but not much wave 3 stuff besides Ike and Lucario.

Gonna try one more store then om done. Maybe I should have bought a Villager to trade for Shulk

Well today was interesting. I got two things, a story to tell my grandchildren and a Shulk!!

Hunting for Amiibos is like RPG questing. It feels like every general electronics store received 2 Shulks each, while the dude is long gone at places you could preorder. I got fucked over on my online reservation but I went scouting and got it from TRU.
