Someone already pointed out about this chapter. But I had to read it. I just can't believe it. Why am I still reading this? Why am I doing this to myself?

Nachi invites Iwami to a restaurant with the intent of complaining to her that she's using too much of their toilet paper. He says that he "has to get serious as a man to tell her this." Naturally, she assumes he's confessing. (Note: it was obvious it would eventually happen, it's been belligerent sexual tension for 150 chapters or something)

For some reason, the entire conversation progresses such that he believes she is talking about the length and quality of her poop. What is actually happening is that she likes Nachi but she wants to explain to him how she's gotten over Yuu (the MC) because while her feelings for Yuu have been around "longer," they're not as "heavy" as Aoi's feelings. Nachi believes that Iwami is literally comparing her feces to Aoi's and that she's trying to tell him that Aoi has a problem with constipation. When she says she's talked about Yuu on Twitter before, he somehow believes that she names her shits and and posts photographs of all of her bowel movements on Twitter.

Then, he asks her about Aoi being constipated, and she just thinks it's a weird metaphor and that he knows what's happening. Eventually, she says that she accepts his confession and he figures out what's going on and begins to take it back, but she makes a bunch of cutesy faces and he realizes she's hot and decides he'd rather have a hot girlfriend than clarify the toilet paper issue. (Apparently he's supposed to be really fucking stupid for both the shit conversation and also for not noticing the girl was hot (which is a trope I hate)).

He, erm, got over (?) being gay and is dating his (female) homeroom teacher who is also the keyboardist from the Hedgehogs.
It almost sound like you shitting us, but then you see the cha₩ter and was like, its all true!
God damn, i don't know how Seo did this. No way he's making his manga while sober. Nope.

Dungeon Meshi 38
This manga is too damn good. The humor and action was on point and it is a great way to end current arc. Laius and co head deeper into the dungeon to kill mad sorcerer, Kabru and team head back into the surface.

I'm almost sure Asebi (cat lady) going to join Laius crew

slightly modified for the squeamish

I love how this one panel manages to convincingly portray Kabru's traumatic past and his legitimate horror at having remembered it, yet also be absolutely hilarious in context.

I love how this one panel basically tells you what you need to know about his past without having to devote multiple chapters to sob stories like other manga would do.

OPM I was basically screaming OH SHIT! the entire time. This was good. This reminded me why I got so into OPM.

Nah, I think they'll end on the tournament arc. Gotta give Saitama his moment to shine or whatever.
Saitama convo with King & the MA gathering should be a nice stopping point and a good build-up to Season 3 when shit really hits the fan. Sure as hell hope we got Madhouse or Bones for that tho.

I don't get why they keep publishing these handful of pages while apologizing for the author being human. They should just take some time off and recover properly. What am I supposed to feel when I read "the author tried hard but couldn't draw more than this" except "omg stop drawing"

Welcome to the Ballroom 45
Well that's disappointing about Takeuchi's health. Hope it improves. The ten pages we got were pretty good though.

Seems like the plan was to have the manga complete the Kugimiya showdown before the anime, but it seems like the anime will probably finish it first at this rate.

Yuri Natsu -Kagaya Inn- ch8

Wonder why that inn isn't a pilgrimage site for yuri couples already.

A good habit to have.

Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san ch65-66

One of the two is pretty mature at least.

Tomo-chan wa Onna no ko! ch667

Time for a long trip in quest of some soul searching (I hope).

Hozuki-san Chi no Aneki + Imouto ch17-19

This almost escalated quickly.

So... Mari Yamazaki is now Commendatore dell'Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.
Damn.

- "How did you become Commendatore?"
-- "I made a manga."

Jokes aside congratulations.

Edit:

I haven't followed Manga in a while, but I just found out that Genshiken TNG ended and saw what happened to Madarame... but what happens to Hato?

Isn't that the weird thing that put Madarame and Saki together? :p

I'm more curious if Hato ever came out as trans, or if the character was suppose to be gay (or something else entirely, I suppose).

damn so he went there.

I like where this is going, I mean in a bad way, this will be very uncomfortable and very interesting, someone is going to find out, just the matter who will be the first and how they react/deal with it

7th Garden vol 1

seems more interesting than most other shonen manga, so I'm intrigued at this stage. The world building and art are quite good too. Hope it keeps up!

only thing that I'm not a fan of is the excessive use of "garden" metaphors. it's just silly.

From what I can remember, very little definitively happens with Hato by Nidaime's end, since he never fully embraces any one side of himself. With Spotted Flower seemingly being an alternate universe, there's not really much that can be drawn from Hato's development in it.

Zweizer, you got any good recommendations?

Magika no Kenshi to Bashireusu Ch1-40: Well this was dumb, but it was a fun kind of dumb. Very similar to that other Harem-Magic-King manga whose name I forget.

Magi End: Okay, did anyone else feel like there was a chapter missing from this? So many jump-cuts and loose ends.

There was a trove of yandere doujinshi getting translated in August, but the most interesting (and somewhat grotesque) is The Line Between Fact And Fiction Blurs by hal, which interestingly started out quite sweet and normal, but quickly degraded towards an abusive relationship and you can see the girl's mind slowly break down as she clings onto her love and belief that he's still the kind boy from her childhood, which ultimately ends up as well as you'd imagine.

If you, uh, want something more tame, Futanari-do ~Hanaki ni tsukau wa Tagai no seiki~ by Jenigata is a sweet story of two futanari making love and building a family.

Well now you got me interested, what happens to Madarame?
By the end of Nidaime, he ends up with Sue of all people. lol

Oh weird, is pseudo-Hato in that too? I guess I need to check it out.

But it's weird given how hard the author pushed Hato for a while, at least when I was reading it, for nothing to happen with the character.

Strawberry Fields Once Again ch4

Akira and her mother have had it rough. Still, Pure's behaviour makes her claim to be from the future harder and harder to believe.

Cheerful Amnesia ch13

Time to take things back to the level it once was!

This might as well be Arisa's default expression.

Tsugumomo ch102

I appreciate how the series can make such bizarre objets and tools work superbly as tsukumogami.

Hatarakanai Futari ch190.5-190.6

They kinda spoiled each other too much.

Kingdom vol39-44 Omake

Kyoukai is quite the little devil.

Yes, though Hato isn't nearly as prevalent as in Nidaime. It's been somewhat enjoyable (more so than Nidaime), but the latest unreleased chapters feature a bizarre development that certainly doesn't compel me to continue reading.

It was definitely a strange and unfortunate decision by the mangaka. Given his prominence, Hato deserved a conclusion to his character arc that amounted to more than narrative indifference.

So I know Spotted Flower existed before Nidaime (at least I think so anyway), so the author just put Hato in after Nidaime started?

I always thought Hato was a response to Wandering Son and the author wanting to do their own riff on that, but to hear it just sort of fizzles makes me even more sure that he was just trying to follow a trend rather than tell a story. lol
