The studio behind Crackdown (Ruffian Games) is working on a unnamed next-gen Action Adventure game according to LinkedIn profiles. Crackdown 3 possibly? :O

Crackdown 3? No way :p

Tried to watch the Chelsea v Liverpool match by connecting a friend's Sky box to the Xbox one - is there an explanation why the image quality was so poor? There was artifacting everywhere, almost looked like we were streaming the match instead.

Quantum Break, Fall or later. Halo 5, Fall. Sunset Overdrive, probably Fall earliest.

It's gonna be a dry summer. Still not at a point next year where it's viable for the Bone to be your primary gaming platform, I think. But it depends on what you play and how much.

I don't feel like Quantum Break with even be a 2014 title. There are a lot of third party games coming out in the Spring and Fall, though. You're right about summer being rough, though. I imagine the indie titles will shoot for this time period.

I don't know. I mean, we haven't really heard what sort of titles we'll get out of ID@Xbox but if they're good enough and there is a good number, they could prop up the drier months. That's obviously just speculation though.

TitanFall + Project Spark are going to consume large amounts of my time :)
I'm also a bit interested in PvZ

Hopefully ID@Xbox launches a wave of games around that time too

I can live with a Halo delay, I don't think Xbox One can tho. They need that 1-2 punch this September (Halo + Price Cut).

QB tho, we've been hearing a lot about it so it better still be 2014!!

I really, really hope that they don't rush out this Halo game. You could tell Halo 4 was rushed out the door, and it suffered from it in many ways.
I'd be okay with a delay, but hopefully they are on schedule.

If they do delay, they need Black Tusk's game this fall, and it needs to be good/big.

Hold on, friend! I'd love to share with you some swell news about the Windows 8 Metro UI! Wait, where are you going?
What I really need is a good RPG, DA3 looks interesting as does The Witcher 3 but there needs to be more. The game that really got me excited about the 360 launch was Mass Effect, that game blew my mind. Lost Odyssey too. I haven't seen anything like those yet except Ryse which is great but short and not the same genre obviously. My girlfriend was asking if there was anything like Fable yet.

Same is true of the PS4.

Are EA using their own servers for FIFA14 and Battlefield 4? Every game I try to play is a laggy mess. And Battlefield 4 just will not connect again.

If MS are insisting on charging for Live they should force publishers to make sure they are up and running properly

EA always used their own servers.there was a big deal with this back in 2002 or 2003 and MS had no choice and they might have lost support from EA otherwise.

Everything else seemed to be fine, just the quality of the image had a lot of artifacting, noticeable with the blacks.

We didn't fiddle with any settings with the Xbox One, I'm sure we overlooked something.

Sky have reduced their Sky Sports bitrates recently, IIRC, so it could be that. Did you try connecting directly to the TV?

I downloaded the game on my PC but all my friends are xbox players...

I read some rumors about an Xbox One version but nothing concrete.

Warface and World of Tanks are 360 only for now, but they would be silly to not try and at least port them to X1 since MS is publishing both of them. Actually Crytek is signed up with ID@XBOX, so maybe they will be publishing Warface themselves on X1...who knows.

titanfall is early 2014 MS definitely needs something for sept-dec.

It is goin to be halo. Not having halo out will give them huge setback

The summer should be swamped with 3rd parties. Watch Dogs and Destiny for starters and the inevitable wave 2-3 of ID@Xbox games.

Halo will be the major November release. If QB makes it this year, it'll be the major October release. I can see both Sunset Overdrive and Black Tusk's games being early 2015 games.

So August or more likely September? I could see that. The only reason I was thinking 2015 is because we haven't seen anything new and all we know is it passed its vertical slice test. I guess Microsoft could wait until E3 to blow it out but I would prefer to be hearing about games coming out in 2014 over the next few weeks but that's probably wishful thinking.

Yeah, that what was so perplexing, when directly connected it looked as it should. But going through the Xbox One, the image quality suffered.
