I hope my fellow Xbox/game pass players give the game a real chance, it's a great little fighting game.
It has crossplay with playstation and pc users too, so it should be fairly healthy online.
My personal gripes with the game are:
No Johnny
No Slayer
Terrible lobby system.
March has turned out to be an excellent game pass month for me personally between this and wo long.

It's funny though, Baiken is popular in these polls but no one plays her online. (Well going off xrd)They seem to do it at the release of every new game based on the launch roster vs what people want to see in the season passes.
I would assume the first 3 or so characters are already set, but they do seem to effect later releases
However it will be intresting to see how...

Intresting fact with Bridget release is that it brought the largest increase in twitch viewership and the largest increase in players for a character release, but only gathered from Steam DB (which is what all the journalists used at the time to declare Bridget the greatest addition to the game) this was however only 800 players higher than Baiken who if you look at the twitch chart...
Despite this being a huge event with all eyes on it, didn't really translate into players... it also turned into lowest returning amount afterwards, people didn't come back essentially afterwards.
Sure this will be a big bump from gamepass though.

Last time these where crunched for players are quite low as it was found more people play online on PC than console, might even those numbers on gamepass.

I'm jumping into strive with Xbox, my first go with the game was with the network test on Xbox a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, seems like a US store issue. In the UK locale, I think it's 30 gbp for the base game, then roughly 20 gbp per season pass.

Eh DNF Duel was cool, but kinda came and went. The support for that title was really bad lol.
It’s had that stutter issue on the bird loading screen (and sometimes the character select screen) since launch.
There’s no traditional SP mode here. You just watch anime cut scenes in engine for a few hours.
Granblue got dealt dirty with Covid and no roll back netcode.
Was so disappointed with this. I heard the story mode was great from someone here and bought the game on PS4. I kept waiting and waiting for the gameplay in the story mode only to find out on google there isn’t any…
