thing is they still aren't that easy to find either. a lot of stores still have the "we're sold out, f-off" sign in front of their DS displays.

The Wario DS will definitely hit a million. Quite suprise Nintendo hasn't release a follow up yet. These titles sold bucket load.

Maybe it has to do with the fact the team is also behind the Brain titles..... is that true?

Does anyone have the latest numbers on actual released first/third party games? I recently tried a method of assigning the unaccounted to first and third parties, but I think it was pretty flawed. For instance, Nintendo had 81.8% of the DS game sales from the top 100 this month, so my guesstimate would give them 81.8% of the unaccounted as well. That would be 87,751.

The 100th ranked game sold 7,127, though, so everything below would be lower. So for that 87,751 guesstimate to even be possible, Nintendo/Pokémon would have to have something like 13 titles hovering right below the list, or maybe 25 averaging half of that. Considering how long some of their titles stick around the top 100, though, it seems that they'd be a minority of the sub-100 games.

Well its without a doubt that for the rest of the year the DS and the PS2 will be sitting really comfortably on top. The real question will be, can Zelda TP alone push the GC above the GBA and PSP by the end of the year? :D

Yes! Our fight against Mono will be even stronger when he gets back. Though the next game to probably sell well as a 3rd Party game is going to be Naruto at the end of the month, which should sell around 200-275,000. Then we will have to wait for Tales of the Tempest in early June. :D

Not that I really care. It is funny watching him struggle. What is the next big 3rd Party game for the PSP going to be and when?

Edit: Answered my own question.

Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai - April 20th
Sega Trainer 2 - May 25th
DQ & FF Itadaki Street Portable - May 25th

Yes, but three potential "big" sellers in two months is much poorer than usual. The coming weeks (and months) looks really bad for PSP.

Edit - Interesting seeing Eyeshield 21's success on DS. It was a smart move from Nintendo to get the anime crowd so early on with Jump Super Stars, looks like it's paying off nicely.

Well it does have Tekken coming out in July. I'm not exactly sure about any other big PSP games though. Who knows when Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core (or was that the PS2 game) will come out, and I don't think that it will get as many exclusives any more now that the DS is selling shit loads.

I think the DS will get Winning Eleven in August along with a Power Pro game. Not sure about anything else in it's schedule after that though. Final Fantasy should be some time this fall. Along with a follow up to Tamagotchi, which should sell almost 1,000,000 again. Though I'm sure we will find more about the DS's future line up in May.

I dunno. The PSP Bleach games -definitely- suck, but the CyberConnect2 ones on PS2 are really solid.

I've played one PS2 Bleach game (beat'em up) and it really sucks :p Are there more? (apart from the RPG)

That´s around 5k per week and outside the top 30 even though both Medica Create and Dengeki reported much higher chart positions. Could it be that Famitsu lower the numbers on purpose to make the LTD number match what Nintendos has shipped?? Since I think Famitsus total is too high.
Did they learn these methods from ioi? :D
