Um, no? The PSP kicks ass and is grossly underappreciated, but if the PS3 hasn't even shifted 700k and it's sitting around in stores, that's really B-A-D.

i find it pretty impressive that the 360 sold as much as the PS3 and Wii combined. who woulda thunk the thunk.

Zelda on Gamecube sold a lot. A LOT. Where are Gamecube's numbers ? Zelda could have been an impact on Hardware's sales too, for the last time.

Compliments for the Xbox360 and Gears of War: what I expected for both.

But I suppose the story is, next-gen hardware continues to disappoint, but next-gen software really is doing great. Zelda and GoW are both doing amazing. And also wow at Guitar Heroes.

If another thread by SonyCowboy is correct, Kaz said at CES that the 1 million would be in stores by ~today. I guess they finished producing those 1m before Dec 31st?

What did the 360 do its first month? I'm asking cause I have no idea and am genuinely interested.

Well, I expect really more then one PSP game to break the 100k this month, otehrwise these numbers make no sense.
But if you think about it, these numbers are strange.......

Please don`t endanger the NPD numbers by letting people get away with posting these "nudge nudge, wink wink" lists. It`s a slippery slope

Keep in mind that Nintendo did a WW launch, they probably also shipped to other parts of the world where we dont get sales data from, like south america and other countries. NA, Japan and Europe are not the only places in the world you know.

Nice 360 and Gears numbers. Very impressive.
Zelda numbers also = great.
Wii and PS3 - damn. lower than i expected, especially for the Wii.
God, i love Gaf around this time.

It beat the Wii and PS3 too. I think it would have beaten the PS3 even if Sony had over a million units shipped. Sondy did say they had a million units shipped. The PS2 is cheap and has tons of software choices, it is a beast.
