Which website do you prefer from the two? The first 3 on the left is one version of the website and the other 3 on the right is another version of the website. Choosing one image from any of the two versions is fine since it would represent that entire version. This will only work if you are on a desktop.

A bit late but I went with the far right one - text block on left, one hero image on right.

The second one on the right. It's far easier to read and less busy.

If you're going to have text over a photo, then you really need it to still be in a box with some transparency unless there are some pretty solid colours in the image to make the text stand out. The first one on the left also has too small text and the headings need to be bigger.

The text in the body of both is too small.
