I will be straight honest now - I tried to live like I described but it was to much for me.
The heat, constant sweating, incredible exhaustion after few days, it all pushed me back to my home in Europe.
You were all right about how stupid idea it was.
The biggest problem was water - for some reason it wasn't raining at all even if it supposed to be rainy season - that is why I couldn't count on that source of clean water.
Also there is plenty of people living like that in the forests in French Guiana - they call them smokers. I was just 5th wheel in that car.

Some more impressions would be nice and some pictures of what was going on there and about the smokers. Happy you’re alive and well!
Welcome back OP. What did you do while you were there anyway? Just walk around and chop down plants? Did you have a tent or did you do a hammock or how were you sleeping?

In one place the ants almost ate my arm off. Very aggressive creatures.
