I will be straight honest now - I tried to live like I described but it was to much for me.
The heat, constant sweating, incredible exhaustion after few days, it all pushed me back to my home in Europe.

You were all right about how stupid idea it was.

The biggest problem was water - for some reason it wasn't raining at all even if it supposed to be rainy season - that is why I couldn't count on that source of clean water.

Also there is plenty of people living like that in the forests in French Guiana - they call them smokers. I was just 5th wheel in that car.

Well smokers are just homeless people taking advantage of tropical climate, but also they are burning stuff wherever they stay for a while - I don't know why, but I assume it is kind of drug.

I didn't have tent and I didn't use the hammock - plain sleep on the ground. In one place the ants almost ate my arm off. Very aggressive creatures.

Hate to say I told you so, but there’s stubborn and then there is willfully stupid. I would do some real soul searching if I were you, maybe therapy because there’s something misfiring upstairs I think. Good luck.
