Is there a way to see how many players participated in the online TT other than to go down the list manually?

I did it! I thought I was gonna take a break for the last license test as its described as this horror track and on first try a few months back yeah it didnt look fun. But no matter how many times i went off-track, every corner I started to feel more and more and was slowly getting them down. The biggest help was finding someone on YT saying to put TCS on max and counter steering to STRONG and havign the demo AI ghost to watch how they move. I actually still made a few mistakes, could probably knock down the time even more but for now, the trophy is all that matters. I actually improved my time 3 times, so a license test which seemed like a nightmare actually was fun to improve on whereas the S-7 I really dont want to even attempt again, it wasnt fun. S-10 you actually feel the car and probably the only car at these speeds where slight throttle pushes make a big difference. As long as you know where the rain puddles are, you are pretty safe, just break early enough.

Here is the video with the demo ghost on. I had way better runs but would fall off track at a certain point but even with the mistakes still managed a good time. There were cleaner runs and I managed to fuck up and go off track in the very last turn like 3 times :messenger_loudly_crying:

Con-Z-epT Con-Z-epT only 3 legendary cars left for the play trophy :messenger_sunglasses: Thanks for the constant support. I honestly though Id never get gold on those 10 races left.

Edit: And faster than me. :messenger_open_mouth: Now i have something to work on. :messenger_grinning:

I find the track interesting enough and challenging to want to improve time on it just because its considered like "the hardest" license....then I went to the leaderboard. People are acing this with a time of 1:15:500......where the fuck did you gain 10 seconds lol.

P.S. all users, when are we gonna have some friendly MP race together?

Yeah it's completely insane what some people manage to drive. That's what's so addictive to me, there is always something you can improve on.

We tried to do some lobbies but never got more than 4 people together. A real shame.

Btw for the 3 legendary cars, how often do they pop up in the dealership. I slightly googled and some people said it takes 2 months for all the cars to rotate :messenger_grimmacing_. And is Sardegna still the best track for money grind...like 800k per 30 mins?

It's not a perfect rotation in the sense that the same cars might appear in different order. So yes, it can definitely take 6-8 weeks for some cars.

You need these 3 cars for the trophy.

Ford Mark IV Race Car '67 (last appeared, 26.1.2023)
Ferrari 330 P4 '67 (last appeared, 3.1.2023)
Jaguar XJ13 '66 (last appeared, 11.1.2023)

You can track them here if you don't want to check in game every day.

As for farming credits...

Le Mans WTC 700 (31 minutes on avarage) will give you 825,000 CR and Sardegna Road Track WTC 800 (25 minutes with good pace in a Gr.2 car) 727,500 CR if you get a clean race bonus. The only time the clean race bonus for these two races is rendered invalid is when you overtake while the yellow flag is out. Otherwise you can go full rampage. :messenger_winking:

Spa Francorchamps WTC 800 (1 hour endurance) is also pretty cool and gets you 1,500,000 CR with the clean race bonus. Should be the same regarding the clean race bonus as the former two but i'm not a hundred percent sure.

Tokyo Expressway WTC 600 (around 25 minutes) will give you 825,000 CR with a clean race bonus but here you really have to be careful since its very easy to loose this bonus. I'm drawn more and more to this race lately as a diversion and it's 50/50 for me in terms of a clean race. Definitely the hardest from all of these!

And if you haven't done so already i would highly suggest you do the "The Human Comedy" endurance missions and all the circuit experiences since these are worth a lot. Not all of them are easy but especially the missions are wonderful.

Thanks for the massive list. Yeah I usually always do Sardegna 800, I remember people talk alote about the Tokyo Expressway but from the forum chatter, seems like its much trickier than Sardegna. I already golded most circuits so yeah that money is done for but good for reminding me about Human Comedy, I totally ignored that one.

Initially you could fool the PP system and use the Tomahawk for the tokyo race and be done with it in about 12-15 minutes. :messenger_tears_of_joy: They patched it however. Definitely a tricky race, but also a very cool one. Winning isn't even the problem but it's so easy to mess up in terms of a clean race.

The Human Comedy is awesome content. Some are fairly challenging but all are satisfying races.

Ye I too completely forgot about the human comedy. I see its 1 hour endurance with 500k payouts. Does that actually become higher with clean race etc? I mean im just looking at the fastest way to earn cash.

Also one thing i realized is kinda messed up for the legendary car trophy is that the prices fluctuate....i remember first looking what the 3 cars are to get the trophy and the Ford was then 4.5 mil but now its like 6.7. I mean i get it, the whole dealership is changing evaluation but its fucked someone got the car for 2 mil less 😂

Wait what. I've gotten gold in all except a few. Those I golded still count or?
some times were just reset (you keep license but lose the record), I recall Laguna Seca with Super Formula due to the allowance of boost before one of the patches. Actually, I am not sure of any other. But lots of physics changes might have made them easier or harder now.

I still remember the most in-depth tuning I've done in a GT game was on GT4 using the Cobra. I remember I was struggling to keep it on the track and finally got it tuned to my liking.

In other news, I slightly adjusted my seating position for my wheel and it's been better. my time are getting very close to what I was with a controller on many tracks. Sadly my paddle shifter magnet mod snapped so I want to order a new one. Luckily they are cheap.

PSVR2 is so damn close!

yeah, it seems like bs but seat position is a big thing when using a wheel!

Most of my life with GT I play it using a chase cam but today I really tried all the cams separately and its crazy how different they sound and how much effort was put into the sound design. The bumper cam you can hear the gushing of the wind coming straight at you especially at high speeds. Dash cam is more muffled due to the bounce of the wind against the windshield. Cockpit is just brutal with gear shifts and engine whine. Its fucking amazing!

GT7 is the first time I've used cockpit cam for the majority of my playtime. I generally would use bumper cam, but not I can't go back.

Now with VR support soon, I probably never will.

It's awesome when you go out of the slip stream at full speed and suddenly the wind gets really loud. The haptic feedback also changes depending on the camera angle.

I have a question. I just spent 30 minutes before hooking my controller at the bed. Is it actually possible to get above the car in photo mode or scapes.

Like a police chase helicopter view. Or can you manipulate it to look like it?

I've seen some shots posted in the Showcase that did that. Have not personally tried it myself. It may need to be a photo mode cam done during the race, definitely not in scapes unless you find a scape that is already that view (there is a dam in Australia I believe) that is a high shot.

For scapes it's not possible since you have a fixed camera angle but in photo mode this is possible.

Go to "race photos" while you watch the replay. From there you have a multitude of camera options. On the far left there are two foot steps that show "Walk Mode". With this option you can freely adjust the camera however you want. The height is restricted so it may not be a helicopter view. Other options would be to choose any of the other camera angles to see if it features one that you find fitting. Sadly, with these you can only pan the camera or zoom and not alter the position. But there are definitely some that are far away from the car and pretty high. Also track dependant.

So it's kinda just luck of the draw. I have tried it twice and I get the angle but the car is out of view or I can only see a rear wing. Annoying.

Yeah, I think it's luck of the draw. Some people get some insane shot though that leaving me scratching my head sometimes. Wizards.

Edit: I think one of the tricks they pull is tuning the snots out of certain vehicle in such a way where they can break the physics and get it super airborne. Then they're able to lock the cam to the car and manipulate top down shots on other cars.

To some degree.

Again, if you go through the camera options when you choose "race photos" it already features a wide variety of possibilities. If it's not what you want then you can go back 10 seconds in the replay and wait for the right angle to appear. Doesn't take long but beware that there might be no camera at all which will suit your preferences.

Edit: Try also to choose a different car then yours while watching the replay to help with the visibility of your own car.

Love driving the GTO, Really love that top shot.

I thought about some old american movies like Bullitt or Two-Lane Blacktop while at work and how i could frame a shot in that theme in GT7. A testament to the incredible photo mode given how fast i translated the thought into the shot. In most games i use this mode merely to frame the shot better since these are always clunky to use but here i feel right at home.

Tuned up the GTO slightly for a bit better acceleration and a fifth gear. The difference between this car and a japanese vehicle from the same timeframe is crazy. Like when you go over a small elevation and the car starts to lift while shifting weight. :messenger_grinning_sweat: Incredible fun to catch it or to let it drift.
