I get the appeal of deepfaking a familiar pretty face on a pornstar's body. But it's really nothing special. After a few seconds they feel like a regular, boring pornstar. I'm willing to bet that even if those actresses/personalities you like did porn for real, you would lose interest after the first video.

There is a bunch of hysteria around this at the moment, some streamers have even sued some creators of deep fakes.
The people he watched, like pokimane, have talked about how this violates her and all this for a while now, so he likely went into complete crisis mode and panicked. He's terrified of being labeled a sexist.
Some of the streamers have gone completely insane, like this one, who has broken down on stream several times because of deep fakes, and is generally losing her fucking mind:

Atrioc is a little bitch, but that girl having a meltdown over deepfakes of herself is a pretty messed up situation though, let's be real here for a moment. There's no precedent on how to deal with this.
Can't imagine it being easy for anyone or their families to see their face deepfaked on porn and spread around. And then being reported on websites all over the place. How are you supposed to handle that, mentally?

Deepfake porn will inevitably continue to spread and become a thing. Honestly, I think famous people/politicians probably secretly want this. The more commonplace this becomes the more someone can just say it’s a deepfake and not real.

Understandable for the girls to be upset, but it’s not really them at the end of the day. Incidents like this only serve to signal boost the fakes.

By asserting the fact that it isn't you. That its just your face stuck on someone else's body.
Be angry about it, sure. But acting like the idea of lookalikes doing stuff without your consent is inconceivable? Porno parodies have been around for decades, and obviously if a person is famous co-opting that fame is a common strategy for sleazy operators.
The bottom line is that these things are hardly mainstream; a person would have to seek these out on porn websites and such. Websites which if they host fakes of you, will likely contain similar videos of other celebs. So its not quite like revenge porn where the person depicted isn't being specifically and singularly targeted.
I'd also add that there's a weird thing going on where the actual porno performer who's literally erased visually and economically and that's apparently not even part of the equation. You could make an argument that while the famous face is being exploited, they are the ones actually victimized.

Assuming this while situation isn’t staged, I think that popup ad part is a lie. I got caught looking at porn when I was younger and I made the same excuse, the popup ads seduced me. See, it’s not that he was already thinking about fucking these people and sought out the deepfakes himself, it was the darned ads flashing in his face he couldn’t avoid seeing, so not totally his fault when you think about it. The hundred dollars part seems weird too, like he added that to make it seem like he purchased the video honestly so he has more of a right to watch it than some creep jerkin it to free deepfakes he sought out himself.
No idea, maybe there’s popups for hundred dollar deepfakes on mainstream porn sites, I’ve never seen it. I have heard people alter their story to soften the severity of their guilt, that’s what those details sound like to me.

Maybe I'm out of the loop because I generally don't use pornhub for my porn consumption, but I find it highly unlikely that there are deepfake ads on “practically every video”. That seems like the type of stuff you'd have to search out yourself. What a lame excuse. You had yourself a fun little wank adventure, just admit it lol.
