A guy at work sent a screenshot via email to the team complaining of an issue, but he didnt realise he had no less than 5 tabs of porn / "slut hookup" sites open.
He didn't get any shit for it, just some jokes at his expense. Didn't happen again.

What I didn't hear before today was that Atrioc (the crying streamer) kinda had to address the issue as a browser tab showing where he got the deepfakes, was momentarily shown on screen in a previous stream... So he was forced to address the issue, before the inevitable "expose" occurred.
The larger issue is a whole can of worms, but the basic truth is that (1) the tech isn't going away, and (2) if a market of any description for this sort of stuff exists, its still going to get made.
So, if you put your face out into the world, you need to accept this as a potential consequence. Like piracy, trolls, and stalkers.
Legal intervention is only going to do so much, no matter what the level of actual criminality is determined to be.

A deepfake is when people take recorded footage and you put someone else's face onto another person, to make it seem like that person could have been a part of another piece of footage. Here is an example:
As you can see, it's almost as if those actors are actually in these scenes entirely, thanks to how far the technology has come. Now consider how this would be with pornography.
Basically, he went down a rabbit hole of looking up deepfake and A.I. advancements in all fields, decided to check out what's happening on the pornographic end of things, and ended up falling for a deepfake clickbait ad(which was probably advertised to him after his phone tracked him doing all of this) and he watched deepfake porn of a coworker/colleague.
Him speaking about it on stream is either due to stupidity, guilt, or pressure from the person sitting next to him(who might also know those coworkers and told him to confess).

I guess it really depends how close he is with the girls in the deepfake. “Coworker/colleague” sounds like a bit of a stretch for a career where you just sit at home all day. But if he really was close or had a friendship with them, I’m a little more sympathetic to his apology the more I think about it. Getting caught like that would be humiliating and likely irreparably damage that friendship.

It all depends on the context. If he's in a relationship with that person who was on camera with him, and she caught him in the act, it looks pretty bad. If she is also friends with those colleagues, it looks even worse, and thus makes the clip make way more sense. These are all reaching statements though, just like the ones condemning him for crying about it. More context would make this all add up, but as of now it just takes the appearance of a silly news story
