I will still stand by my statement that I am waiting for one of these three games, Final Fantasy Tactics, Castlevania remake, and FF: Crisis Core.

The moment one of those games are out is the day I add +1 to the PSP sales.

I think the 360 hardware numbers will be the lowest they've ever been considering all the rumors about the new SKU or price drop that have been going on since mid February. Wasn't a major game release either aside from maybe GRAW2 (which didn't seem to get much hype).

Wii supply sucked ass last month... RARELY did anyone advertise it because they couldnt allocate large 20,000+ piece shipments.

just because they came last week doesnt mean retailers are selling them... but maybe they are sitting on them for the 22nd till the shipment comes complete with accessories and what not.

You have to understand Crackdown was only on the feb npd chart for about 4 days. We could see the residual effect on this next one. And just because nothing good released in march dosn't mean the 360 would sell any less. There are still people in que who want the system for the games thats released.

It's gonna be hard to predict DS sales. Supply constrained, but five week month with Wario (and evidence shows that lack of quality doesn't hurt sales too much for Nintendo properties).

Expecting a HUGE month at retail? March is generally a slower month than February; the extra week will pad things out but that means it should be par with last month, not blow it away....

Pretty much everything is reduced week on week, some more than others, unless I screwed up. Either way, I spent less than a minute on it and am not getting paid for the analysis. Being drastically wrong won't be the end of the world.

NDS: Gradual slowing, but the Pokebomb looms across the horizon...
Wii: Slow, heavily supply constrained March... and then BIG shipments in the first week of April.
PS2: Boosts from GoW2 and GH2 still rockin' on.
360: Just normal-ish 360 sales, with a little downward pressure from the Elite announcement (because people are waiting to buy it, not because they're throwing a temper tantrum and spending their cash on lotto tickets instead).
PSP: SOMEthing motivated them to lower the price. Continued uninspiring sales coupled with retail and developer pressure.
GBA: Yeah, whatever.
PS3: The catastrophe continues.

DS and Wii are dependent on shipments which might've been bigger or smaller than my guesses. PS3 dropped significantly (~35%) in average weekly sales from January to February which is a difficult trend to overturn so I expect it to offset most of the gain from the extra week and game releases this month.
