I have no expectation of winning this month's contest. A few of my predictions are more symbolic than actual guesses.
I think I'l still be fairly competitive but that because I think many of the other guesses here are really bad

Looking at the (few) Sw predictions, I think people are greatly underestimating Marvel and perhaps Bully. From what I've heard, they did quite well. Bully should be well over 100k, but I don't see it going much above 200k if at all.

Again, when I look at the past few October's releases from years past, this one is pretty weak, but has potential of strong sales on established IP's. (Star Wars, Marvel, Splinter Cell, Pokemon, Madden, etc).

Probably all platforms, too. (Destroy All Humans! did ~210K between XBX and PS2 back in June 2005.) Of course, that would make Madden's total waaay low, in my opinion. :p

Can't see Bully doing much more than 150k. There doesnt seem to be any buzz around the game to be honest. Vice City Stories seems like a bit of a bust too although I guess it will have a full month of sales next NPD and should see a boost due to Christmas sales.

damn, I missed this thread......I just moved to downtown Minneapolis the past 10 or so days and finally have 24/7 internet, etc. Lets see.....due to wii and ps3 arriving in november, I see a down month for october. No numbers, but just a down month.


Any jobs with Microsoft in Minneapolis area? Just got here and don't really want to start working again for 6-12 months, but if the right job is available I could change my mind. :D

Yes, I left Sony after 7.5 great years....couldnt take San Diego living any longer. Housing prices were nuts.
