If AW is a metacritic hit, it will sell. If it´s received like Ghosts, the franchise has just been Guitar Hero´ed.
Even if AW is a sales disappointment by COD's own standards, it'll still probably make 15 million sales. There's no way Activision will axe it any time soon though; what they may do is to rethink their strategy (which would be a good thing), although they've already started that by creating a third studio on rotation and giving each of them a three year development cycle. Advanced Warfare will be the first product of this renewed strategy, and to be fair to Sledgehammer I think it looks like the most interesting instalment since MW2.
