Snowling is the fastest way to make rupees. Google the video of how to get a strike every time.

snowbowling at the cabin near hebra tower
can get you fast rupees if you spend 20 minutes perfecting your technique.

Gambling in Lurelin Village is pretty fast, but annoying due to the substantial amount of time you will spend looking at loading screens.

I'll have to try these out, really hurting for cash lol

Just beast the Beast Vah Naboris.

Easily the best one so far(Medoh and Rutah the other two) in fact it was probably the only really good one.

Nah, they were all great. In vah ruta (the first one i did) i actually got stuck because
i didn't get the map at first, so I didn't know that you could move the divine beast to bring the water inside and move shit around.
When i realized that you could do that i was really surprised. Thought it was a brilliant mechanic and it was great to see how different it felt compared to previous Zelda dungeons, i got stuck because i was used to the old style of puzzle solving to the point that I couldn't possibly think about that.

That's the first thing it tells you to do. I don't see how you could miss it.

Van Medoh was probably worse than some shrines in the game.

For those of youse who've maxed out stamina... do you feel like some sort of super spider-man? Or is there a point where you're like meh, diminishing returns and all that?

I ignored it. Decided to focus on some chests instead. Then i got the map, opened it, noticed that you could do that and was like "oh. Holy fuck"

Van Medoh was probably worse than some shrines in the game.
Which isn't really saying a lot since most shrines are absolutely brilliant. Still, I don't know if i agree. There were some awesome puzzles in it.

That's my plan too. Riding out 9 hearts as I've still got 3 divine beasts to do. So I guess my plan is 12 hearts.

Yup. Trying to preserve some difficulty plus the asymmetrical second line of hearts will drive me nuts :p

Its super helpful since i rarely have to change into climbing gear. That said, max stamina with speed up and climbing gear is legit spiderman status. If only they had a hook shot in this game omg.

Just found the memory in the
castle
. That has to be some of the worst VA Ive heard in a while my god. never again use who ever voices the
king
and the voice acting director in charge of him

such a shame because the text itself, and mini story, seemed really powerful... but my immersion was broken..

I like most of the voice acting, I think it generally works, but yeah, some of the direction and the acting was bad. Hopefully they can fix that for the next Zelda game because at this point I want the next Zelda game to be fully voiced.

What the heck??? I just got shocked to death on a super rainy day.

Thunder storm, you gotta take off that metal. You can tell you're about to get zapped because you'll see some small bits of electrical activity coming off your metal items. Always keep a non-metal sword, shield, and bow in your inventory, especially in the early parts of the game.

The fact that Link changes his posture to "copy" the monster he is currently impersonating is reason enough. For example when he wears the Lizalfo mask he will crouch just like one (not when you are running though, just standing still)

How did I not realize this sooner!? The poses are hilarious. Lynel and Bokoblins are the best poses.

Something I feel I should've realized sooner: sometimes Korok nuts will be found under rocks hidden by dried leaves (which you can of course burn to make them disappear.)

Question about a sidequest in the desert:

I got the snow bots in order to find the 'eight warrior' in the snow mountains - but before I have to find someone in the village that has more information on that. And honsestly, I think I've talked to all the people there twice and didn't find anyone. Any hint?

42 hours in and I've reached Zora's Domain. This place is magical and compounds the steps forward taken by Nintendo with this game.

To go from Skyward Sword, an occasionally great game, to this… It's incredible.

I love the 'telephone' history of what actually happened with Link around the city. I love the walkways being inch-high rivers. I loved merely getting to this place. The trek was hard and different and completely robust in how it let you reach it.

This world is so well designed. It's the first game I've played where I've said 'just add these things to let me play with them' and I'd be okay with it as DLC.

There's so much mileage in this world. GREAT work Nintendo.

I don't think I'll ever need more than 15 hearts, and I don't think I'll ever collect everything, so I'll probably switch a couple hearts for stamina with the evil statue, finish my third wheel, and not really bother with hearts just to keep everything nice-looking and for the QoL stamina brings. If something is challenging, it's challenging. If I'm failing on 15 hearts plus Mipha's Grace and my items and fairies, clearly I need to work on my skills.

I'm the type that generally burn out of single player games fast but this game has me wanting to come back for more just like Destiny did a couple years ago.
Oh man, I forgot how good Destiny was, especially with the Taken King content. Too bad so much stuff was multiplayer-only and didn't even allow matchmaking. Yeah this is quite similar in terms of just going out and finding stuff, and all single-player, so an improvement in that regard.

Not sure if right thread but will still ask: I have Hori's basic switch screen protector (10 USD). If I docked my switch, would I still be at risk for scratches?

never found him/her really, but you don't really HAVE to find the guy/girl,you can just go searching for it,you already know the place the statue it's supposed to be

Same here, I tried experimenting a lot after people started saying "think it and you can do it" and it mostly still holds up 60 hours in.

This could be the game's tag, there's always more than one way to do something. Case in point:

Right, this escort mission on death mountain is fucking atrocious.

I did it after like 2-3 tries. It is always horrible to have to maniuplate bad AI like that..

You guys know you can tell him to stop right at the start, then easily destroy every single flying guardian, right? I mean, the very first one is next a hill with a huge boulder you can directly roll on it without missing. Every one of the rest can be destroyed with regular bombs from above, they even drop guardian parts.

Is there no way to force a blood moon or should I just keep waiting? It's getting bloody ridiculous now.

The more enemies you've killed the higher the chance.

Resting over and over will get you one eventually, but it'll be faster to just go around killing everything, especially world bosses.

Annoying and hilarious thing: I was at the beach completing a korok puzzle,
by finding stones at the beach and putting them in the circle
. But this was at night, so when I arrive with the last remaining stone, skeletons appear through the ground, the skeletons take "my" stones from the circle and start to throw them at me.

The korok puzzle had to wait until after I'd defeated the skeletons.

The Death Mountain escort mission was super easy for me - at least, the escorting part was.
Never got caught once, it's easy to just tell the Goron to stop and run ahead to kill the sentries. All the sentries had super obvious/telegraphed ways to kill them, too.
The only problems I had were
the Goron got bugged on the geometry once and I kept getting "he can't get to your location" even like six inches away, so I had to actually push him a bit to get him "unstuck"
and
I forgot that I was supposed to be shooting the Divine Beast with the cannons, so I had to backtrack to do that
, but the second one is my bad. From all the complaints I expected a lot worse.

That's the screen protector I own and I haven't had any issues. Definitely worth buying. Apparently the premium screen protector from Hori has issues, but not the basic one.

Can confirm, it's great.

I'm on Zelda lent at the moment. Since the 3rd, I've played it EVERY day for at least an hour. So I figured I'd leave a little room. Distance makes the heart grow fonder... 100 hours in, full stamina bar, 12 hears, Ganon down.

Yep, read this on another site. Thanks anyway!

Just killed the Lynel at
the colloseum
and it was a fight worth having as a few waits at a campfire later I get "something's going to happen tonight" from the prediction guy.

Thanks. Ive been playing handheld mode and been terrified to throw the game up on the rc due to scratches. Since im paranoid and want to be sure:

I should be good to dock it with this screen protwctor correct?

30 hours in and I've mastered the parry. Still working on the backflip for the slow motion fury strikes. Guardians are kinda boring now, it's basically wait and parry three shots and collect springs.

Done. Did all shrines and memories. Made the ending super easy. Went in with all the meals Link could hold, wound up just using a couple.

Overall, I absolutely loved the game. Like 11/10 loved. But, I absolutely don't want another game like it with all the shrines being the main way to "level up". Loved it, wouldn't be excited about doing it again.

Just did the summit of Mt. Lanayru. Holy cow that was amazing.

Went up there with just a torch at night time and it was atmospheric af. **beedle wow sound**

Get the amFilm glass guard and you're set for life (of console). Super easy install,

Lots of long grass can bog down a bit, but truly, those moments are few and far between. Off the Plateau, it's smooth sailing 99% of the time.

I swear people must be playing a different version than me. Slowdown is everywhere on the map, any big field (there are tons of them, almost too many) and my FPS takes a nose dive.

Huh, I dunno what the deal is with your version =/ Could be some hardware problem with your Switch? I know it runs pretty hot docked because of Zelda.

Is there a way to get a picture of a boss if I didn't remember to take it? I didn't take a picture of the
Zora divine beast boss
, am I screwed or can I buy it from the Hatelia lab guy?

Watch Da Birdie

I buy cakes for myself on my birthday it's not weird lots of people do it I bet
You know I realized Nintendo hints at each main Dungeon mechanic with the Shrines, particularly the ones everyone will probably do because they serve as quick-travel to towns...

I forgot if this was the case for Rito and Zora, someone needs to check, but I recall with Goron
there's a Shrine right near the town focused on lighting torches with blue flames, which is what you do in the dungeon
and with Gerudo
there were at least two I did in the desert involving electricity, which you use in the dungeon as well.

I'm doing the Gerudo Dungeon right now and I gotta say, I LOVED the mini-boss you fought to get to it. It was very classic 3D Zelda, simple and gimmicky, but damn I missed fights like those. I'm not a big fan of the main Dungeon Bosses, weakest part of the game imo, so I wish all the main Dungeon Bosses took a break from trying to do new things and just were fun and exciting like TP's bosses were.

The Gerudo Dungeon is pretty hard too, the gimmick is harder for me to process how it changes the playing field compared to the other three.

If you forget to take a photo,
you can buy them at one of the labs after a sidequest.
