I like bortus, but both worf and bortus have a flaw. The problem with the worf archetype is he’s too slavishly loyal to military hierarchy to be a true badass. He’s always like yes captain, whatever you say, you are the ranking officer therefore I must obey you. Think for yourself sometimes buddy.

You know, I didn’t give Bortus enough credit. He has the balls to change his convictions and defy the authority of tradition, and he’s a good dad. What does Worf do except act stuffy and brood? Kind of a one trick pony
