I think IdeaMan is looking for a new fanbase to fawn and drool over his posts like they did in the Wii-U speculation threads.
If you were gonna link the ones already linked, you didn't get anything right. At least, nothing that was proven yet.
link - date: 05/19/2012, weeks before the documentation leaks at vgleaks, a semester before the confirmation of this specific NAND by the first teardowns[...] Another source told me, and this is the new tidbit, that the OS is stored in a specific flash, different than the other flash memory that will be built-in the system for downloading, saves, etc. Like a lot of other platforms actually (they need a specific type of flash dedicated for the OS, the firmware upgrades, etc.). The size of this flash seems to be 512MB. Obviously, it doesn't mean the OS is 512mb, and that it will occupy 512MB once loaded in the RAM memory [...].
All this to say what ? I believe in my source (that aren't saying the PS4 situation is terribad, just that, at that time, a few weeks before E3, they got issues with their dev kit and their games).
Admit it, eurogamer had u guys shook as hell tho :lol
Hoping for a ram reduction. Don't care about next gen consoles, just wanna see tears and the Cerny wank-fest come to an end
Only works if you shun all outsiders and create a locked up tight little community. WUST was one of the worst things to happen on GAF for a while. It was like some sort of console war supersoldier breeding programme.
I don't doubt IdeaMan has a couple real sources, I mean its hard not to really if youve been around this industry peripherally for long enough, but to complain about low framerates back in April doesn't make them the sharpest tool in the shed you should be paying much attention to. Also it pays to be skeptical of exactly why an individual would be sharing more Nintendo tidbits than any other despite having access to all.

2) First Wii U dev kit using classic controller rather than Gamepad - date: 02/06/2012 - confirmed weeks after by vgleaks
I could continue like this for a least ten points, the most notable is the memory architecture, with 2GB of total ram and 1GB for games, 1GB for OS, confirmed a semester after.

So you felt compelled to piss on the party for the sake of console war parity and balance with a history of 2/8 non-Nintendo threads to your name. This is the meta-game of GAF, and its pretty hard to wriggle away from once your rep sets like a fine jelly.
Nope, we had a good laugh at this dumb post though:
hahahaha I'm dying. Someone please link me to that post
What does that have to do with this?
I'm still waiting for you to explain how a revised shipping estimate somehow proves the problems with the development environment you claim to exist.
as the related upstream supply chain has not yet received any shipment instructions from the Japan-based vendor, implying a possible delay in the game console's mass shipment schedule, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
I think the point is mostly that your source tells you that THEY had issues with PS4 devkits and from this you extrapolate that Sony is in a rush etc, even citing janky framerate in E3 demoes. That's a ridiculous stretch. Especially given how the dev community has been very outspoken on the matter for months, and extremely happy overall.
Well, i have spent my time saying that it may be relevant only for my sources. But as they are rather competent and big, i doubt they would be the sole devs to feel that way, although it's possible.
Pro-tip: if its Ubi, not so good with framerates!
Proer-tip: if its Acti, they're working on shovelware!
also, you're projecting. Don't do that! Thats why you are in this mess.
