El Maybe is a DC fanboy so I'm not too worried about his opinion unless he didn't like it.

Press screenings 3 weeks out usually bode well for movies. WB has confidence in it.

Peter from SlashFilm saw it as well

EDIT - When asked when he could put up his reactions he said the following...

TBD, but I wouldn't expect it to happen this weekend.

Ahh can't wait for embargo to lift. How early did they do BvS press screenings? I feel like they did fan screenings even before the press..

The first reactions came out March 21st and they were all super positive hype train...

So yeah, this is a different situation. These aren't fan reactions for WW, these will be press reactions first, 3 weeks early too boot, not 5 days early. Like I said, WB must have confidence in the film to screen it this early.

Yes I think this is a shocking thing, they probably have full faith in this movie it has to do good

Can't wait for this:

to happen, but with Wonder Woman's pose.[/QUOTE]

Neither here nor there, but it's interesting how the crosses arms pose is quickly, and somewhat naturally, establishing itself as the Wonder Woman pose.

What was seen as the WW pose in public consciousness was probably Linda Carter standing tall with her hands on her hips. It's similar to the classic Superman pose. So I think they're conscious of differentiating them with how Gal's WW is portrayed.

Since the movie is releasing later in some countries, I would say no spoilers until 30th of June, then only light spoilers untagged. Doubt there will be much to spoil, but anyway, don't be an asshole.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but screening early means nothing if the embargo is lifted last minute.

WB screened King Arthur weeks before and look at those scores.

And Screening late also doesn't pull out any magic if the movie is bad

Yeah, I totally agree with that too.

That said, if word is extremely positive, WB shouldn't be hiding it until the last minute (not saying that they are)... they've been about trying to change the narrative since SS reviews dropped.

That was totally different actually. WB was screening early to fans mostly and trying to salvage the film with SOME positive reception. Just look at the positive articles that followed.

.

Those were fan screenings. Isn't this mostly critics/press?

Hell, have fans even seen Wonder Woman yet (aside from test stuff?)

Fuck those early screenings...The line to get in is ridiculous. Need to get there like 3 hours early on a Tuesday night. Don't people work???? Wish they could do guaranteed tickets somehow, but I understand why they dont

You gotta go old school for that

If you win from a newspaper/radio, almost always guaranteed seating or early admission.

I tried to defend Smallville on the Flash topic some months ago but was not successful. I think Smallville was a great enjoyable show for it's time.

I think "for it's time" defines Smallville to a lot of people.
Yeah, I can't go back and watch it (actually I can't go back and watch any hour long TV drama show), but I stood by it through all 10 seasons and never missed an episode.

Chloe was definitely the better character, but Kristin Kreuk just did it for me ::swoon::

I love Chloe. I'm working my way through the last season now and I have to say Lois also becomes much more interesting by the end. Lana who?

I can still remember the last 5 minutes of the season 1 finale like it was yesterday. Shit was so good. Hooked for life after that. I was like 10 maybe and just sat there in awe

Also Kristen kreuk was my crush for like 15 years because of that show. Hnggg
