December 2014 NPD (U.S. Hardware) Predictions - Closes January 13th

What is NPD?: NPD is one of the main retail tracking firms in the U.S., and also about the only one who specifically goes into detail on video games sales. This thread is to predict what the NPD hardware sales will be for the most recent month. NPD months are defined here, from jvm.
What do I win?: Bragging rights. We also keep track of predictions over the year and have an annual contest using "points." Still just bragging rights, but Sales-Agers have fun seeing how well we can do with it. See here for details on the point calculations.

Prediction entries must be in and finalized by 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday, January 13th. Format use is required if you want your entry counted.

NPD Coverage: November 30, 2014-January 3, 2015 (5 weeks, November was 4 weeks)

I'm fairly certain that the Xbox ran away with it again in December. Ungrateful children, hen-pecked parents, and cheap Call of Duty boxes make for easy sales. I have a slight increase for Xbox in December as most consoles normally sell better in the 2nd holiday month based on past 360 trends. I'm also hesitant to put the PS4 above 1 Million because of the lack of the Black Friday bundle (I'd bet parents wouldn't care anyway). Nominal increases for everything else based on past trends.

Keeping that AC bundle around throughout the holiday was a smart move I think on MS's part. Seemed to sell well into December too. So I'll give the edge to the X1 again.

It has a note about that possibility there, but left it in with the note to let individuals decide what it's talking about. Hopefully we'll get clearer PRs from all three before prediction cutoff, in any case.

XB1 looks like it's got this month also... at least on amazon.

PS4 has been steady gaining pace week on week. The gap doesn't seem like it will be as large as it was for november.

CBOAT won't be here, so there shoudn't be something like that this time. Still, much better be cautious after the madness in NPD November thread. I will never forget it.
