Yes, I did. And this is not misrepresenting at all - yes, they have said that what PDP did was undefensable, but they still said that he isn't racist or more importantly that his actions were not racist.

Like I've said before I cannot see an apology as sincere if he feels the need to say " If I offended someone..." It is pretty clear that he offended a ton of people so in my book it makes him seem insincere

Because it has been normalized in society in a certain way so it is more acceptable to hear people say it. There is also the whole identity/race thing that doesn't come across in an anonymous setting, so in the end, it becomes a lot worse.

There is also no way to filter the words out b y voice recognition and the reporting parts of many games never get anything done because people just use them to troll.

It's a lot more complicated than people saying racial slurs on voice chat. In PewDiePies case he is a moron because he is in a very public setting and he knows this. That slip is more than that. Maybe he normalized the word into his everyday online life.

This is just stupid, you can't hold YouTube, as a company, responsible for what one user on their website said. If YouTube wants to, they have the right to dole out some form of punishment onto him, but they are not responsible for what someone said on their platform that has thousands of racist videos uploaded by people who are actually racist.

YouTube has made millions of dollars off of PDP, they are supporting a racist and profiting from him.

They are responsible for enabling this type of behavior.
