I don't know how long it will sustain the numbers, but I think it's time for the 'it's a fad!' folks to finally start letting reality set in. I don't think it's very reasonable to believe the that the Wii will start to drop as we get closer to Christmas.

They shouldn't even bother with RE5 on Wii, why the hell anyone wants that is beyond me. Leave it to 360, and make a new game with the RE4 engine for the Wii. That way we get two new RE games, not just one with different versions.
